Wayerate

Wayerate (name comes from Wall + player + crate) is a sokoban-based puzzle game where you can reverse the roles of players, walls and crates.

How to play:
The goal is to cover every target with a crate and put a player character onto every house.
Player characters are controlled using WASD, they move in sync as long as they are not hitting an obstacle. Crates can be pushed, however each character can push only one crate at once. Walls cannot be pushed.

Hints for levels:
Sokoban: WASD to move, push crates on targets with your player character.
Open Space: You cannot push multiple crates at once.
Where is the player: Press X to cycle Player -> Crate -> Wall.
Cramped quarters: Move the player and the crates separately using the X mechanic.
Empty houses need inhabitants: Houses need a player character on them, just like targets need crates on them.
Walls are a suggestion...: If only there was a way to convert the three walls into three boxes...
...well not all of them: The gray walls are immovable and indestructible.
The player on the left actually does not need to move to the other side of the wall.
Empty room: (solution) XSSAAWDX, not sure how to hint at this sorry.
Converge: You can use the middle Crate as a player that can push the other blocks around.
Slamming the blocks against the wall is another useful technique.
Escape: Try to damage the box as little as possible, the goal is to weaken the wall at one point, so it has only 1 block width and the player can push it from inside.
Infiltrate: The wall can help you make a dent inside into which you put the block.
Push away: Push objects into the corner by using a player, what pushes what is determined by what is a crate and what is a player at a given time.
Shuffle: The goal is to order the players to the left of the two crates.

To do this one needs to back out to the left with the players and put the wall into the top/bottom protrusion.
A rhombus that wanted to be a square: The boxes can hold the players in place.
A square that wanted to be a rhombus: Two boxes are too much for a character to push, acting like a wall.

When you think about it, the square differs from the rhombus only by a little, can you correct those spots?
Cooperation: Players are constrained to moving up/down, crates only left/right (unless pushed).

Heh it’s true, I tried to design certain levels which are interesting to solve both ways.
